1. QUOTE OF THE MONTH

“A man with ability and the desire to accomplish something can do anything.” - Donald Kircher

The world and its people have to offer a lot. Knowing this people world-wide embarks on different disciplines, which they not only feel passionate about, but which became their life-meaning vision. The ability arises from one’s passion to see change and therefore working on your ability is an external exercise of an internal desire. The desire and search for meaning, helps individuals to take a good view at their abilities to fulfil that desire. Being passionate about it, doesn’t necessarily mean that one suffers of a mental condition, rather it means that one is on fire just thinking of the exciting ventures on which you are able to embark upon.

Thinking of the joy while being humble enough when it comes to what you as an individual has accomplished. For this reason people develop a can-do attitude knowing that when the tasks is a related task, they see and acknowledge the challenge and of the go, wanting to prove to themselves that such a task is in actual fact achievable.

An unfortunate reality however is that very few people view life in this way and therefore they remain unfulfilled and seemed to fail to realize opportunities when it arrives. They doubt in their ability due to things that they heard since childhood and therefore knowing that other people believe in their capabilities remains unmoved. Therefore a person needs to believe in their God-given abilities and the God believes in the one whom he gave this special ability, for no one can do a better job than you in that specific time frame.

Kircher wants people to adopt this can do anything attitude and therefore for him that is the beginning of a purpose and meaningful life. Kircher by no means wants people to walk around with a prideful attitude, but with a grateful attitude especially for having the opportunities and the chance to make that a reality. A can do attitude is an attitude of not accepting that you are a failure, it’s the fire that drives you forward, a fire that puts you out there among the people who makes things happen. A fire that also helps you to realize that there is so much more to learn, to give and to receive. In your can do anything attitude your desire and your abilities are being put under a great amount of pressure to perform and while at the same time allow others to reach their full realization that they are also good at something and therefore cultivate this culture even further.

People’s desire to accomplish and conquer is a natural instinct which everyone possess, and it only depends whether this desire is met with strong support or strong resistance. Take this ministry for example, it was based on desire to reach people with the gospel in far off countries, countries where we thought Christians would even be especially in the so-called Muslim countries and yet from time to time we see that it has been visited, all because of the right support and a common vision, therefore all accomplishments belongs to all the people collectively. Your desire to accomplish therefore must be greater than your desire to destroy or your desire to control, bring you back to the question: What is your heartfelt desire for your life? Your heartfelt desire therefore determines your whole attitude towards life and the way in which you are going about to obtain the desired outcome.

As leaders our desire so to lead people in a specific area of their lives. As leaders we know that it is all about the people we serve, since they enable us to reach our desire to accomplish, meaning that a network of support is being formed around such individuals, whether financially, emotionally or in any other unmentioned way. We therefore become one another’s enablers by putting them on the right path. The desire to accomplished needs to go along the desire to be accountable and being kept accountable by the people around you and thus honesty leads to the end result, one that is desired by everyone.

In this way it becomes important to spread your wings and being out there allowing people to see you in action as well as to enable them to help you finding the hidden gifts that you yourself did not even know you possessed. And this is only allowed once you put your gifts upon the water as our monthly devotional will be suggesting.

In Christ and through Christ everything and anything is possible, even the things that you thought aren’t possible. By responding to one gift allows other hidden gift to surface and it is only then that you start to realize all the doors around you that opens up that leads you into the desired accomplishments. May you accomplished some of your goals this coming month and being humble enough to realize that it is only a small stepping stone to your greater accomplishment, the one in which you will be flourishing.

With Kind Regards

2. MONTHLY DEVOTIONAL - CASTING YOUR GIFT'S UPON THE WATER

Devotional text: Ecclesiastes 11, 1; 4-6 (NIV)

Cast your bread upon the waters, for after many days you will find it again. Whoever watches the wind will not plant; whoever looks at the clouds will not reap. As you do not know the path of the wind, or how the body is formed in a mother’s womb, so you cannot understand the work of God, the Maker of all things. Sow your seed in the morning, and at evening let not your hands be idle, for you do not know which will succeed, whether this or that, or whether both will do equally well.

Dear Friends

Throwing your gifts away! Is that what our text is suggesting to us, meaning that we do the things that we are not really passionate about, but is simply doing it as a result of not having other options? Our gifts are viewed in our text of being the food and when throwing it away it seems like a waste and “food” and resources. However this is not what our text is suggesting. It suggest that you spread your wings, meaning that you go into the world live your dream and you will be amazed at what God can do for you. Doors open even those you thought has been closed forever. By doing that, you will know that when hard times come you better hold onto the things that you have knowing that God can move you anytime again to the place and mission which he has for your life.

Thus for your gifts to develop and to find the path that God has for you, you need to let it go, meaning allowing God to find the right places at the right time. Maybe your time has come and yes we do not always understand the work of the Lord, therefore, allow yourself to experiment with his grace by taking up some of the opportunities that comes your way and know that God would never open a door he knows you ain’t passionate about. That is why being plugged into God is such an important aspect when casting your gifts, since it seems a waste for others, while at the same time you experience the grace of God in a way you did not know it is possible.

However, our text also gives us a warning that at certain times during our lives it is more important to safeguard our hearts than being out there, because you will never know when the storms of life is rising and then like with any farmer can’t reap, but have to wait in doors until the storm has passed. Safeguarding means it’s a time for assessment, a time to count the possible costs which that storm has had upon your life. It’s a time for reflection, a time for new decisions. The harvest will still be reaped, it only means God allows you to work in another area of life and that is why it is also important that our hands don’t remain idle since it is through hard work and determination that you find your place. Your gift’s goes out before you and without realising it, people around you are observing your every move, because they are convinced that God has a purpose for your life and seems to see it way before you do. God does prepare the way for us if we allow our gifts to spread out over a vast majority of land and there is no better way to do that than throwing it in a stream of flowing water and by doing that it will reach into the areas where God has intended it to be.

Jesus Christ is this living water and by giving him your gift, he will walk and work with that gifts, reaching places you have never imagine. Christ’s compassion is this flowing river, and compassion (Come passion), Christ invites us to share our passion with him. Sharing our passion with him means therefore that we enter with him into a partnership and what partnership can be better than with the Creator of our passion. This therefore could be the best business deal you’ll ever write, since your business in this world is approved by the One who has approved you since the beginning of time. With him on your team, you will be able to withstand the storms of life when it comes, you will be able to have done the ground work of your next big project, since having Jesus as your business partner only means one thing and that is that he wants you to succeed. With Christ in your life, no opportunity is ever wasted, since you will know when the right doors will open and therefore and where the counterfeit doors are that tries to bring you off track from the real purpose in your life.

Father God

We want to exalt you for opening doors for us, because of your infinite mercy and grace. Thank you that we can stand tall no matter how the storms of life are battering on our doors. Thank you that your son Jesus Christ is willing to partner with us and for showing us when the times are near when we need to take stock of our lives while resting and seeing how your mercy is working in our world. Grant us your presence in everything that we are doing and continue to show us your way for us forward.
Amen

God Bless!!

3. AN UPDATE ON KEHRHAHNMINISTRIES STANDINGS FOR THE LAST SIX MONTH'S

Kehrhahnministries executive has published in an earlier report this year, a report in we have set a goal for the ministry concerning growth and it was estimated on our executive meeting at the beginning of this year that we would like 6000 visits by the end of 2011. It brings us great joy to release the following figures to you as we are well on our way in reaching our estimate target in such a way that we are increasing that estimation up to 8500 visits, which according to the opinion of the executive is still a very conservative number.

The executive would like to thank everyone for taking up the challenge and making it their personal mission to help us reaching this goal. Not only is it our goal rather it became the goal of the visitors as well, since the executive from the beginning has always said it is your ministry and not ours and that it is a pleasure for us and bringing us great joy in bringing this ministry to you. Without your support, prayers and love this would have remained yet another unfulfilled dream of a few. The statistics are as follows:

Standing Report Summary

2008 828 visits

Deficit required 398
Revised deficit required 2898

We would to stress at this point that we are not a church rather a group of people who want achieve our aims & objectives as outlaid in our constitution. A word of thanks goes to our visionary partner countries that are remaining in the top ranks since the beginning of this ministry. They are Russian Federation, United States of America and Germany and the Ukraine. Thank you for the work that you are doing. It is sincerely appreciated. Our number of visits of 2010 has been passed already as well as our best yearly visitations indicator which was 4992 (in 2009) to its current total of 5602 (in 2011) as indicated above, and based on that our number has been increased to 8500, since we are confident as executive that 6000 will be reached in the beginning of July. This year a lot of new landmarks have been achieved and that thanks belongs to you our visitors, who made this ministry, your ministry. We stand in faith knowing that this new target of 8500 will be reached in the next two month’s trusting that God will use this ministry in the lives of more people around the world. Why settle for 6000 when we are moving to an even greater figure. Working for God isn’t based on stagnating figures but goes way beyond it.

The next summary of our standing report will be published in the October edition of our newsletter and we hope that we can share even better news with you during that publication and therefore our “Get Real Campaign” for 2011 is well on its way.

With grateful hearts!!!!!

4. "DEFINING MOMENT" - A TIME FOR REAL DECISION

We are being defined by the moments in our lives, the moments where we take decisions about our lives about where we stand within our communities. Everything we do defines us, the things that we are willing to make noises about, the things that we stand for whether political, social or even our religious views. These defining moments, involves taking risk which some would call calculated risk, knowing when to speak and when to keep quiet and allow things to go its course.

Defining moments are the moments where you feel that whatever decision you have made, enables you to see God’s greatness in that decision. Those special moments which come around so often that we at times fail to recognise them since they are there for a very short period of time. Decisions not only have an impact upon our lives that has been made by others, but also the decisions that we ourselves make that impact others as well. So whatever decision you are about to make, make it along with God and when the result becomes visible then know that it’s been a moment where God imbursed the decision you’ve made and therefore it’s time to enjoy the fruits of it.

Defining moments are the moments where your true character comes to the fore front, it’s the moments when people look at you and see what really makes you getting out of bed in the mornings and why you have decided upon a specific career. You need to define yourself, if not then others will define you, meaning they will decide who and what you should be and therefore it becomes even more important that you go out into this world knowing where you want to be and who you are as an individual. One can never cease to discover you, since our whole lives is about searching and discovering, making life an adventure on which we all embark on.

Our “Get Real Campaign” is all about defining moments and our aim is to challenge our readers to take a good view at themselves and where they are situated within their immediate environment. It’s about recognizing your gifts and talents and put them out there; challenging you to reach the places you yourselves did not even realize you could be in. It’s about creating a new you from within yourselves, while knowing that there is more about you than who you currently are. It about knowing who you are and what is important to you when no one is there to watch you. It’s about removing the masks that we all are wearing at specific intervals and time frames of our lives. Many of your devotions and previous articles during 2011 are based on this campaign as we journey with you through a period of self discovery and expectancy. These moments are there for you to enjoy even though it is painful at time and there are also times especially for you which becomes hilarious, times when you are able to laugh at yourself and times where serendipity allows you to take stock of the position in which you find yourself.

The song that would deepen your understanding in regards to this article is a song from Newsong calling “Defining Moment”. I hope that you would enjoy this song but that it would move you to new heights, the ones that we are all so desperately seeking. Newsong is our Kehrhahnministries music icon for this month.

With regards
